Nothing can go wrong
Plan out routes to guide a mouse to the cheese! Nothing could go wrong ... unless you are the mouse! Note that the player does not have direct control over the mouse: you plan out the route, and the mouse executes it! Get to the large cheese somewhere on the map!
Currently only finished tutorial and level 1.
Controls:
W/A/S/D and arrow key: move preview to plan out the route
C (or click on button): revert to the last step when in preview,
Enter (or click on button): confirm the route and execute.
R: retry level
Intended difficulties:
- Easy (recommended): players can plan multiple consecutive routes to reach the large cheese. Once players step on the teleportation tile, the system will remember the locations so you can see them in the preview on your next try
- Normal: players must plan one route to get to the large cheese. If the mouse does not reach the large cheese at the end of the route, it will go back to the beginning, and players need to plan from the beginning again
- Hard: Normal + the game will no longer remember the teleportation location for you
Known issues:
1. (fixed in v0.2.3) return to main menu/level selection might not work in some of the scenes
2. (fixed in v0.2.1) input sequence display, was intended to be arrow keys but the html version does not seem to support them
3. (fixed in v0.2.3) in hidden scene, the code still uses the teleportation memory of the primary scene (hence teleporting it somewhere else)
4. (fixed in v0.2.3) background music stops sometimes
Versions:
nothing_html_v0.2.3_bugfix: fixed all known issues (see below)
nothing_html_v0.2.1_bugfix: fixed input sequence arrow display
nothing_html_v0.2.0_submission: submitted version before deadline

this is really fun lol you need to add more levels tho lol
Thanks! I actually aimed for three levels but ended up only finishing one lol
game is pretty cool but confusing also
Thanks for playing! I should have made more text explanations. But that's also kinda the vibe I'm aiming for: chaos and confusion!
